You may remember these bacon cheddar pinwheels that I made last year? I thought those were the best until I made these.

I was ready to add a little spice to my game day grub. Although I was not looking for anything fried, so I went with the next best thing.

Adding these to BBQ jalapeño popper dip would be a great idea too!

I am going to be a little honest with you. I am not sure I have actually ever had a jalapeño popper. Shocking, right? Well, they have always looked good to me, but it’s not something I want to run out and buy.

I did do a quick search on the internet to find out what actually goes into a jalapeño popper.

It seems this varies a lot depending on who is making it. That’s okay, I went with something simple.

Making these with only four ingredients is my kind of appetizer! Typically, I have most of the ingredients in my refrigerator at any given time, so it was super simple to make.

So, what is in them? Well, I just added some cream cheese, which seems to be staple ingredient. Also cheddar cheese.

Some recipes you will find sour cream and garlic, but I didn’t really feel like adding that into my recipe.

How can I make this spicier? When I cleaned my jalapeños, I took out all of the seeds.

If you want them to have more of a kick to them just chop them up without removing the seeds. This will help add a little more spice to the pinwheels.

Next time I think I will take my own advice because the first time around these were lacking in spice!

If you are looking for more party foods try these pepperoni pizza pinwheels or these buffalo chicken skillet nachos!
