The holidays are just around the corner! Isn’t it crazy that we are almost to the holiday season?

I feel like school just started, and now we blinked, and the holidays are near. In the midst of that, for most of us, our schedules become quite hectic.

That means that we need a little help at dinnertime.

In our family, that means the slow cooker is working on overtime, and sometimes it’s multiple slow cookers going at the same time. Does that happen at your house?

This past week, we whipped up our favorite meatballs, but this time I made them in the slow cooker. These Tangy Turkey Meatballs are one of my favorite ways to enjoy meatballs. The sauce is just perfect paired with the meatballs.

I use this tangy sauce to make a variety of foods including this Gluten-Free Mini Meatloaf. This time though, I decided to use the slow cooker instead. It’s simple to prep the night before too.

Simply make the meatballs, and then prepare the sauce to pour over the meatballs. Once they are covered, set the slow cooker on 6 hours.

Once they are done, we like to pair them with mashed potatoes and corn for a tasty comfort meal.

This is one of my go-to dinners for busy weeknights, but it’s also perfect for a Sunday night dinner too. Our weekends are usually pretty packed too, so it’s nice to enjoy a Sunday evening off duty in the kitchen thanks to the slow cooker.
