This gluten free caramel apple magic cobbler is ready to celebrate fall! It’s the perfect simple dessert.
Some nights are just hectic, aren’t they? I mean between homework and extra activities after school, it’s hard to even find time to make dinner.
There are those nights though that although it may be hard to get dinner in and get it all done, sometimes a good dessert is exactly what we need.
This Gluten Free Caramel Apple Magic Cobber was exactly what we needed after a long day of work, school, homework, and activities. It was exhausting but somehow in between showers, I was able to get this cobbler in the oven and we all enjoyed a little dessert on the patio before bed. That’s not a usual thing in our home to enjoy dessert so late but it was certainly a good way to end a crazy, hectic day.
This cobbler recipe came from a century old cookbook that was given to me from my great, great aunt. I enjoy trying all her recipes because they are simply classics. This can easily be adapted to use the fruit that you have on hand from peaches to apples it’s completely up to you.
I enjoy using caramel apples in the fall. It’s even a wonderful dessert with a little caramel drizzle on top.
I served this over homemade ice cream as well. It is like fall perfection right in a bowl. Now, can you forget about a bad day when you enjoy a bowl of Caramel Apple Magic Cobbler? I sure can!
It truly is magic in a bowl. Now it’s time to enjoy a bite, plus relax and soak in the moments in the day that you may never get back.
What type of cobbler do you enjoy?
Be sure to try out this Blueberry Crisp too for another dessert night.
