Taylor Swift Pop Tarts for Swifties

Taylor Swift reportedly baked pop tarts for the Kansas City Chiefs. Maybe she used one of these recipes?

I’m choosing to believe that the Taylor Swift pop tarts reportedly received by the Kansas City Chiefs offensive linemen were based at least in part on one of these recipes (below).

We’re well known Swifties, over here. Or at least, I’ve been a fan for more than a decade, and it’s one of the original shared interests I bonded with my now-wife about (in addition to a love of good food, a shared punk/emo high school phase, and much more).

And of course, we’re not alone. Which might be why the What to Serve at Your Taylor Swift Super Bowl Watch Party guide is our most popular post so far this year. Now that Chiefs Coach Andy Reid shared that Taylor Swift made pop tarts for the team, we thought it’d be fun to share a few recipes so you can follow suit.

After all, what sends the message “you belong with me” better than fresh pop tarts delivered to your lover?

And I’m choosing to believe she found one of these on Pinterest as inspiration. No word from Reid on what kind of pop tarts they were — after all, the team didn’t let him try one — but wouldn’t it make sense if she made something like these berry pop tarts to evoke the Chiefs’ red team color, sprinkling it with some red and yellow decoration?

Yeah, pretty sure that’s exactly what happened.

We may find out, though. The Pop-Tarts company has apparently challenged Taylor to release her recipe. (*Please be us, please be us, please be us!*)

You have less than two months until Taylor Swift’s new album drops, which is plenty of time for you to perfect one of these recipes — and maybe even adorn them with an illustration of her face? Your listening party guests will love having Taylor Swift pop tarts that evoke her love story.

Or if these seem too complicated, try making these homemade cinnamon rolls, which she has also apparently made for Travis Kelce!

Nutella Pop Tarts are like eating pie for breakfast. And who can argue with that? Pretty sure that’s exactly the kind of fuel football players need before a big game, or that will fuel you on a late night trying to decipher all the Easter eggs on Taylor’s latest album. These polish up real nice.

Okay, so Taylor probably didn’t make these. They’re very out of season, and they won’t be timely for her next album release OR her December birthday. But you need to calm down — sometimes the girlies just need a little pumpkin spice. Worry less about seasonality!
