Italian Club Sandwich Recipe

Italian Club Sandwich has an Italian salad mixed piled on top of the meats and cheese. Full of flavor.

I am surrounded by boring sandwich eaters. Sometimes it pains me to pack lunches for my kids!

They are such no-flavor plain Janes! My oldest daughter will eat turkey with spinach and that is it, no cheese, no condiments.

My son will eat plain turkey. Again no mayo, no cheese.

And my youngest daughter literally eats peanut butter and Nutella every single day. See? Boring! No variety, no flavor!

I can’t believe what my kids are missing in a sandwich! There are so many gorgeous cheeses and deli meats to enjoy, not mention a world full of condiments, spices and seasonings.

I have so much work to do. I have to teach these kids how to eat a proper sandwich!

If I didn’t have to worry about things like cholesterol, fat and calories than I would probably eat something similar to a Dagwood every day. I’d pile a sandwich high with all my favorite meat like salami, turkey and ham.

I would also include a variety of cheeses and veggies. The next day I’d do it all over with a whole slew of different meats and cheeses just because.

That’s how you eat a sandwich! You don’t settle for plain turkey and sliced bread.

While not quite a Dagwood, this Italian club sandwich made me quite happy. See, my go-to sandwiches tend to be grilled sandwiches like this turkey melt or this grilled chicken.

But a sandwich doesn’t have to be grilled to be good!

This club has all my favorite flavorful meats: turkey, salami, pepperoni, and capicola ham. Provolone, fresh tomatoes and spicy pepperoncini peppers make this a stand out sandwich.

But the Italian salad piled on top really makes this sandwich special. The salad is the perfectly seasoned way to finish it off.

The family can stick to their boring old sandwiches, I’m living large with these Italian club sandwiches!
