Which one of these trending summer recipes would you make first?
Sometimes you just want to be nosy. Okay, if you’re me, it’s all the time. And it’s more of a need than a want, if I’m being honest. But there’s value in knowing what’s going on — it’s not “gossip”it is “staying informed,” alright?! Why do you think I became a journalist, anyway? It’s the perfect cover.
In this case, being nosy means wondering what everyone else is eating and drinking this summer. You wouldn’t want to miss out, right? I didn’t think so.
After all, there’s value in knowing what’s trending. It can offer inspiration and encourage you to try something you might not otherwise. Sure, sometimes you’re browsing for a specific recipe or preparation method (I see you, parboiling and air fryer fanatics!), but often, I’m aimlessly scrolling Pinterest or Instagram, hoping to be inspired.
That’s why I’m offering a peek behind the curtain, showing you the 15 most popular recipes that are trending on our site since this summer began.
If you’re familiar with Food Fanatic, you’ve probably seen the Top 3 before. They’re classics that trend no matter what time of year it is, and have been at the top for quite some time. But several of these are distinctly summery and seasonal, popping up to say hello before folks make the mental switch over to apples and crisp leaves and decorative gourd season.
Have you made any of our most popular recipes before? And which one is calling to you most?
My honest answer is #6, something I wouldn’t have sought out but that actually sounds much easier than I would’ve anticipated!
