While orange carrots are the most common, you can find them in many other colors such as white, yellow, orange, purple and even red!

Served raw or cooked, carrots can add a touch of sweetness to your meals. They pair well with all kinds of flavors, so it's easy to produce carrot dishes that everyone will enjoy.

Here are some flavor combinations that are truly delicious:

  • Caraway seeds: toss cooked carrots in butter and sprinkle with caraway seeds
  • Citrus: the zesty, sour flavor of citrus contrasts perfectly with the sweetness in carrots. Simmer carrots until tender and toss with butter, a dash of sugar and a drizzle or lemon or orange juice.
  • Dill: toss cooked carrots in butter with finely chopped dill
  • Ginger: to create a unique twist for carrots, boil them in ginger beer!
  • Honey: carrots glazed with honey are a winning combination, giving them a caramelized flavor.
  • Mint: freshly chopped mint and blanched carrots pair deliciously and work well in salads.
