The Pioneer Woman Homemade Ranch Dressing
This Homemade Ranch Dressing comes to us from The Pioneer Woman. It’s easy to make and is the perfect topping for any salad.
Ingredients
- 1-2 cloves Garlic
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 cup Flat-leaf Parsley
- 2 tablespoons Chives
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup Sour Cream
- tablespoon Buttermilk as needed to desired consistency
- White Vinegar to taste
- Worcestershire Sauce to taste
- Dill to taste
- Ground Cayenne Pepper to taste
- Paprika to taste
- dried Oregano to taste
Instructions
- Mince the garlic with a knife and then sprinkle about an 1/8 to ¼ teaspoons of salt on the garlic, mashing it into a paste with a fork.
- Chop the parsley, chives and any of the optional herbs (very finely); add to the garlic.
- In a bowl mix all ingredients, adding other optional ingredients as you desire, tasting frequently and adjusting seasonings as needed.
- Chill for a couple of hours before serving and thin with milk or buttermilk if desired.
Notes
Do not overdo the garlic, lest you are anxious for some heartburn.
