The Pioneer Woman Homemade Ranch Dressing

  8 Servings

  • 1-2 cloves Garlic
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1/4 cup Flat-leaf Parsley
  • 2 tablespoons Chives
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • tablespoon Buttermilk, as needed to desired consistency
  • White Vinegar, to taste
  • Worcestershire Sauce, to taste
  • Dill, to taste
  • Ground Cayenne Pepper, to taste
  • Paprika, to taste
  • dried Oregano, to taste

  1. Mince the garlic with a knife and then sprinkle about an 1/8 to ¼ teaspoons of salt on the garlic, mashing it into a paste with a fork.
  2. Chop the parsley, chives and any of the optional herbs (very finely); add to the garlic.
  3. In a bowl mix all ingredients, adding other optional ingredients as you desire, tasting frequently and adjusting seasonings as needed.
  4. Chill for a couple of hours before serving and thin with milk or buttermilk if desired.

Do not overdo the garlic, lest you are anxious for some heartburn.
