Easy, breezy chocolate malt pudding pops are such a treat. For kids of all ages!

Popsicles and summer time go hand in hand. Or at least they should. These chocolate malt pudding pops are a continuation of my obsession with popsicles.

The funfetti pudding pops were where it all started. But these pops are for the chocolate lover in your life. Which may very well be you. (I know I fall into that category!) They stray a bit from your traditional chocolate pudding pop because of the fun addition of malted milk powder.

It is a very subtle flavor, so if you prefer more, feel free to add it, or you could leave it out completely if you’re more of a traditionalist. My husband said he could barely taste the malted milk powder in these and of course he was happy because he’s the biggest traditionalist when it comes to food. For the most part. He is (almost) always willing to try new things which is probably a good thing since I’m a food blogger. If he didn’t try new things…well…he wouldn’t eat much.

My daughter loved these chocolate malt pudding pops too, but that should come as no surprise. She’s a 2.5 year old with a major sweet tooth. Plus, food on a stick? Totally cool. Duh.

The best part of these popsicles is that they take literally two seconds to make. Okay – maybe more like 3 minutes but still! Super fast and easy. Granted it does take a bit of time for them to freeze, but whip them up in the morning and you’ll have a tasty treat by the time the day gets really hot and sunny.  And only 3 ingredients! Couldn’t be easier or more fun.
And you’re getting calcium from the milk. So therefore…

…they are totally considered a health food.
