Garlic Bread BLT — use garlic bread to make your BLT over the top! Buttery, crispy, and extra delicious!

I am all about Quick Dinner Ideas. It doesn't seem to matter what time of the year it is, life is just busy. So you need to get dinner on the table fast! And sandwiches are such a great way to do that!

My husband isn't a lunch meat type of guy. So we don't have ham sandwiches or anything like that very often. He is more of a Honey Sesame Chicken Salad Wrap kind of guy. It has to have some substance. Now my son on the other hand, could have a ham sandwich every day and be happy.

So when I was trying to come up with an easy dinner that we would all go for, garlic bread kept popping into my head. I mean, who doesn't love garlic bread right? Why not use that instead of regular bread?

I am kind of picky about my bread, I don't usually like just plain sandwich bread unless I am making toast. Well, let me tell you. Texas toast garlic bread made for the best BLT ever!

I always add avocado to my BLT sandwich; it is just a must. And it all worked so well together. Creamy avocado with the crispy bacon and the super juicy tomato all on the crispy garlic bread. It was sandwich perfection.

Plus you can't really get much easier when it comes to dinner. The garlic bread cooks in about 10 minutes, and then you are just cooking bacon. You could even use those pre-cooked bacon strips, that just take a couple minutes to reheat. Whatever your favorite is.

Personally I think it is best with the thick cut good quality bacon. You only have a handful of ingredients in the sandwich; you want to make sure they are good.

Often times on a BLT you will see mayo added. I skipped that here because of all the butter on the garlic bread; it didn't seem needed. But if you must have mayo on your BLT, then do what you gotta do. Just trust me and use garlic bread next time — it takes your BLT to a whole new level!

Serve your garlic bread BLT with a side of fruit and a few chips for the easiest dinner ever. The whole family will be happy, you will look like a hero, and clean up is pretty much nothing! Wins all around!
