Duggar Family Fruit Pizza Recipe
Ingredients
Pizza:- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup Confectioners Sugar
- 1 cup Butter
- 8 ounces Cream Cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
- 2 cups Strawberries
- 11 ounces Mandarin Orange, drained
- 1 cup Blueberries
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
- 1 cup Unsweetened Pineapple Juice
- 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
Directions
- Combine flour and confectioners' sugar in a large bowl. Cut in butter until crumbly.
- Press onto an ungreased 12-inch pizza pan and bake at 350° for approximately 15 minutes or until very lightly browned. Cool on a wire rack.
- In a separate mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Spread this mixture over crust. Arrange the strawberries, oranges and blueberries on top.
- Time for the glaze: in a saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch. Mix in pineapple juice and lemon juice until smooth. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for two minutes or until thickened. Cool a bit. Drizzle over fruit. Refrigerate until chilled.
Notes
1 can of mandarin oranges is typically comprised of 11 ounces.
