If you’ve never been to a Raising Cane’s restaurant, then you won’t yet have experienced the joys of their signature sauce. With just a few ingredients and under 5 minutes preparation time, you can produce a homemade version that tastes just as good as the original!
Sweet and sour sauce

1/2 cup apricot preserves
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- If there are any large apricot pieces in the preserves, chop them finely.

- Stir the ingredients together in a small bowl.

This is honey mustard sauce with a twist! The fresh flavor of the dill makes this one extra special.
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp honey
2 teaspoons dill, chopped
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon dry mustard powder
salt and pepper, to taste
- Combine the first 5 ingredients in a small bowl.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Spicy peanut butter dipping sauce
This is one of our favorites, combining the sweetness of peanut butter with a little fire from the Sambal Oelek!
1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
1 tablespoon sambal oelek*
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 scallions, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 tablespoon honey
1/4 cup warm water
*Sambal oelek is a crushed chili sauce available in larger grocery stores or ethnic/specialty stores
- Simply whisk all the ingredients together in a small bowl.
Creamy dill and chive dipping sauce
This unique sauce is packed with herbs and full of flavor!
2/3 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup buttermilk
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh chives
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon dried dill
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Combine all the ingredients together in a small bowl.
