Hi! I'm Nora and I love to share fresh & easy family meals on my blog Savory Nothings.
Before I had a baby I used to think moms completely exaggerate when they talk about not having time to cook. And then Baby Savory came along and had a slightly different opinion on things.
Because I grew up on a farm, using fresh and seasonal ingredients has always been very important to me. Now I just incorporate all the fruit and vegetables we buy at the farmer's market into simpler recipes like sheet pan dinners and one bowl cakes instead of slaving over a seven course fine dining experience.
I pride myself in cooking (mostly) from scratch with fresh produce while keeping dinner time stress-free. There’s always a fussy toddler at my feet - so I know my garden-fresh recipes are 100% easy and foolproof! They are tested and approved by me and my picky family.
Did I say picky? I meant wonderful.
Chicken Asparagus Pasta is an easy and delicious weeknight dinner the whole family will enjoy! With the creamy lemon garlic parmesan sauce and the tender asparagus, it’s perfect for spring and early summer nights.
Raspberry Oatmeal Muffins are a healthy and delicious gluten free treat the whole family will enjoy. You only need a few minutes to whip them up with ingredients you probably have on hand already. Make a batch for your freezer, too - you’ll always have a quick on the go breakfast or snack on hand!

I swear, these are impossible not to eat right out of the baking dish… They are an easy appetiser or side dish you can throw together in minutes. The sauce is delicious to be mopped up with crusty bread!
