Cyd Converse is the former editor of Food Fanatic, and also the founder and cocktail shaker in residence at The Sweetest Occasion. Founded in 2008, The Sweetest Occasion is food and lifestyle blog named one of the world's best entertaining blogs by both Better Homes & Gardens and Saveur magazine. Food Fanatic's resident vegetarian, Cyd lives with her husband Bob, sons Noah and Ethan, daughter Emerson and two precocious Labrador Retrievers, Harper and River, in Upstate New York. There she can be found cooking, mixing cocktails and hosting dinner parties at her 112 year old historic home. Cyd's favorite foods include cheese omelets and veggie tacos with homemade corn tortillas and lots of guac.
