They have the soft, delicious warmth of a potato on the inside…
With that perfect crisp texture that no one can resist.
Let’s make Crispy Smashed Potatoes!

First, preheat your oven to 450F.
You’ll need 1 and 1/2 pounds creamer potatoes.
Rinse the potatoes well and scrub if needed.
Place in a pot and cover with cold water. Add 2 tablespoons of salt to season the water.
Bring the water to a boil.
Then cook the potatoes for 15 minutes until fork tender.
Drain the potatoes and let sit for 2 minutes to dry.

Place the potatoes on a sheet pan and smash with a measuring cup, glass or mallet.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper, then drizzle with 1/4 cup oil. You can toss the potatoes in the oil to coat.

Roast in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes until crispy on the bottom and edges.
