Andrea Castrovillari
Italian Fanatic
A native Clevelander, Andrea (AHN-drea) blogs at Cooking with Mamma C, where she shares family recipes and her own creations while advocating for eating fewer processed foods. Andrea can’t imagine life without homemade Italian meals. Her mom is from Naples, and her in-laws are from Calabria, so Andrea knew she had to become a great cook too, if she wanted her own family to eat well. She is devoted to her hubby and two college-age kids (technically adults!) A former journalist, Andrea left the field years ago to work in the nonprofit sector, where she raised tens of millions of dollars for great causes. She now dedicates space on her blog to promote nonprofit organizations working on food-related issues. Andrea finds something to laugh about every day. She relies on prayer, espresso, pasta, exercise and beauty sleep to navigate life. She loves to dance and hopes someday to shake what her mamma gave her on Dancing with the Stars!
