Krispy Kreme Releases 2022 Holiday Doughnuts and We’re Here for Them All

With Thanksgiving officially over, it’s time to turn our heads to the shopping phase of the holidays - unless you're the one who finishes your shopping in July.

This can be a dreaded time for many with heavy traffic in the stores and on the roads. Long lines, traffic jams, and all the people can be overwhelming.

Fortunately, Krispy Kreme is here for us with tasty new treats to help reset our mood and remind us why we are putting ourselves through this in the first place.

Side note: I’m not sure about you, but when I’m angry, just feed me snacks. Seriously, have you ever seen someone sad and angry while eating a doughnut?!

What Are the New Krispy Kreme Holiday Flavors for 2022?

Much to my holiday season joy, Krispy Kreme is returning with two fan favorites to this year’s highly anticipated holiday doughnut selection.

The Santa Belly Doughnut; dipped in red icing and decorated like the Big Guy with icing and a belt buckle sugar piece. It’s seriously cute - and delicious.

The other is the Chocolate Iced with Holiday Sprinkles Doughnut; an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing, topped with holiday sprinkles.

The new additions to the 2022 holiday menu include:

• Sugar Cookie Doughnut​ - An Original Glazed doughnut iced with sugar cookie icing and topped with a sugar cookie sprinkle blend.​
• Gingerbread Cookie Crumb Doughnut​ - Filled with gingerbread cream cheese, dipped in white icing, topped with gingerbread cookie crumbs and holiday sprinkle blend, then and drizzled with gingerbread icing.​
• Red Velvet Cake Doughnut - A glazed red velvet cake doughnut topped with cream cheese icing and red velvet cake crumbles.​

Krispy Kreme always brings a bit of fun to the seasons - like their Halloween doughtnuts and holiday pie inspired mini doughnuts for Thanksgiving. 

"We're bringing the fun, flavors and joy of the Christmas season to life by turning Krispy Kreme shops into Santa’s Bake Shop," Dave Skena, the chain's global chief brand officer, stated. "We hope our fans pick up these delicious, fresh treats to share with family and friends at holiday gatherings."

In addition to the new sugary snacks, Krispy Kreme is also featuring a Sugar Cookie Latte and a Peppermint Mocha Latte. Both coffees will be available hot, iced or frozen.

Never ones to shy away from a good promotion, like Krispy Kreme's Election Day promo, Krispy Kreme is bringing back their famous Day of Dozens for 2022.

Krispy Kreme is offering a buy-a-dozen-get-a-dozen for a dollar, on December 12th, known as the “Day of Dozens”, celebrating the 12th day in the 12th month.
