Pioneer Woman Oatmeal Cookies Recipe

    24 Servings

Ingredients

  • cup Salted Butter
  • 2 cups Dark Brown Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1-1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 3 cups Old Fashioned Oats

Directions

  1. Preheat over to 350.
  2. In a bowl, use an electric mixer (or using a hand mixer) to beat together the butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in the vanilla.
  3. Mix in eggs, one at a time, scraping the bowl after each one.
  4. Mix together the flour, salt and baking soda in a medium-sized bowl.
  5. Add it into the creamed mixture in two to three batches, mixing it until just combined.
  6. Add in the oats until just combined.
  7. Use a scoop or a spoon to drop portions of dough onto a barely greased cookie sheet, spacing them a couple inches apart.
  8. Bake for 12-13 minutes or until dark and chewy.
  9. Allow them to cool on the pan after removing from the oven and transfer the cookies onto a plate for serving.
