Cookie Bars Recipe

Be as creative as you wish with this cookie bars recipe and be assured one one seriously tasty treat!


  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups snickers, chopped


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Line a 9x13 baking dish with parchment paper and spray liberally with cooking spray.
  3. In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat together the butter and sugars until light and creamy, about 5 minutes.
  4. Beat in the vanilla and eggs, one at a time, until thoroughly combined.
  5. In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, beating well.
  7. Stir in your candy mix-ins until combined.
  8. Use your hands to press the dough into the baking dish.
  9. Bake for 30 - 35 minutes, checking for the doneness you prefer. (I like them a bit gooey.)
