Winter Fruit Salad Recipe

Who says fruit salad is reserved for the summer?!? This recipe sets out to prove that theory wrong, delicious and healthy bite by delicious and healthy bite.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups lettuce
  • 4 oranges, peeled and separated
  • 1 whole mango, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup red onion
  • 2 tablespoons mint
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions

  1. Place the shredded lettuce in a large bowl.
  2. Top the lettuce with the orange slices, mango, red onion, mint and cilantro.
  3. Whisk the lime juice, salt, chili powder and olive oil together until well-blended.
  4. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss all ingredients together.
  5. Serve immediately or cover all ingredients and chill.
