How to Make Stuffed Chicken Parmesan

Sometimes when you’re in the mood for Italian, you want it to have a little something extra.

That’s when it’s time to make Stuffed Chicken Parmesan.

Preheat oven to 350°F

You’ll need 3 boneless and skinless chicken breasts. Cut a pocket into each one.

Stuffed Chicken Parmesan

Take 1 cup of mozzarella cheese and stuff it into the pocket of each breast. Press the edges together to make sure the opening is sealed.

Put 2 cups flour into one bowl, 6 beaten eggs into another, and 2 cups bread crumbs into a third bowl.

Dip the stuffed chicken in the flour, shaking off the excess. Be careful to keep the pocket with the cheese from opening.

Now you can dip the floured chicken into the egg, and then into the bread crumbs, being sure to coat it evenly.

Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat and fry the chicken until golden brown on both sides.

Place 2 cups of the tomato sauce evenly on the bottom of a baking dish and place the chicken on top.

Pour 1 cup of tomato sauce over the top,  then sprinkle the parmesan and basil.
