Urvashee Patel
Vegetarian Fanatic
I'm a mom, wife, former high school science teacher, and the writer and photographer behind "Dessarts" a blog focusing on the art of dessert. In recent years, my husband and I have become more focused on healthy eating. Yes, sometimes it's hard to love dessert and be a health nut at the same time. I justify eating my sweets by making sure I cook a healthy dinner for my family everyday. As a vegetarian, I used to find it difficult to make a good meal without cheese or pasta. I'm happy to say that a healthier approach has made us more adventurous. Vegetarian food can be packed with nutrients and taste delicious too.
