Ingredients
  

  • Softened Butter For ramekins or skillets
  • 3 small Bartlett Pear Peeled, cored and chopped into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 2 small Baking Apple Peeled, cored and chopped into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 3 tablespoons Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Water
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon Cardamom
  • 5 Walkers Shortbread Cookie
  • 1/4 cup Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1 tablespoon Unsalted Butter Cold, cut into small pieces
  • Vanilla Ice Cream For serving, optional
  • Whipped Cream For serving, optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Butter ramekins (or mini skillets) and place on rimmed baking sheet. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, toss together pears, apples, brown sugar, water, cinnamon and cardamom. Divide mixture between prepared ramekins.
  • In a medium bowl using a pastry cutter or large fork, break up the Walkers shortbread cookies into fine crumbs. Add oats and stir together. Using pastry cutter or two knives, cut butter into shortbread mixture until a crumbly meal is formed.
  • Divide topping evenly over the fruit. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until fruit is soft and bubbling. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
