Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • 3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 3/4 cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 2 large Egg
  • 1 1/2 cups Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Chopped Nuts

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit; be sure to use your thermometer to check the temperature is correct.
  • In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Beat softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in a mixer until creamed.
  • Add the eggs to the butter mixture, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Beat in the flour mixture, small portions at a time.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  • Depending on how crisp you like your cookies, bake 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Cool the cookies for 2 minutes before moving to wire racks to completely cool.
