Ingredients

  • 1 pound Lean Ground Beef
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 large Egg Slightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Steak Seasoning Or seasoned salt
  • 4 slices Gouda Cheese
  • 4 slices Ham Thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Barbecue Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dried Parsley

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Line a baking pan with parchment paper or baking liner.
  • In a medium size bowl, mix together beef, bread crumbs, egg, ketchup and seasoning. Mix until well combined but do not over-mix.
  • Lay out a 15" piece of wax paper or aluminum foil. Pat out meatloaf mixture onto the paper and form a large rectangle. Leaving about 1 inch around the edges, lay out ham slices on top of meat. Top with the slices of cheese.
  • Roll jelly roll style the long way and bring all edges together. Press all edges in so there is no ham or cheese sticking out of the sides.
  • Place the loaf seam- side down onto the lined baking sheet. Drizzle barbecue sauce over the meatloaf and sprinkle with parsley.
  • Bake for 50 minutes to one hour or until juices run clear and meatloaf is cooked through. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing into serving pieces.
