Ingredients
  

  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter Softened
  • 3/4 cup Pumpkin
  • 1 3/4 cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 3/4 cup Mini Chocolate Chips
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter Softened
  • 6 ounces Cream Cheese Softened
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 2 1/2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Mini Chocolate Chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • In a large mixing bowl beat together the butter, pumpkin, and brown sugar.
  • Add the egg, salt, vanilla, and baking powder and mix well.
  • Add flour and mix until combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Spread into a greased 9x13" pan and bake 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center on the bars comes out clean or with moist crumbs. Do not over bake.
  • Let cool completely before frosting.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat together butter, cream cheese, vanilla, and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • Spread over cooled bars and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  • Store covered in the refrigerator.
