Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Butter melted
  • 1/2 cup Corn Syrup
  • 3 large Egg beaten
  • 1 1/2-2 cups Pecan Halves
  • 2 tablespoons Bourbon good quality
  • 1 Pie Shell 9 inches, unbaked

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375.
  • In a mixing bowl, stir together the sugar and melted butter.
  • Mix in the corn syrup, eggs, pecans, and bourbon... and stir until everything is combined.
  • Pour mixture into an unbaked pie shell and place on a strong cookie sheet.
  • Bake for about 10 minutes.
  • Lower the oven temperature to 350 and continue to bake for an additional 25 minutes or so.
  • Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack.
