- 2 cups Sugar
- 1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Butter softened
- 4 large Egg
- 2 teaspoons Orange Extract
- 2 teaspoons Orange Zest divided
- 1 cup Confectioners Sugar
- tablespoon Orange Juice
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Spray a 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
In a mixing bowl, stir together sugar, flour and salt.
Add butter, eggs, extract, and a teaspoon zest; beat with a mixer at medium speed until well blended.
Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake for about 30 minutes or until light golden brown.
Remove from oven and pierce cake in various spots with a fork.
In a smaller bowl, combine confectioners’ sugar, orange juice and remaining teaspoon zest until smooth.
Pour over warm cake.
Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
