Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Grated Nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cardamom
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 1 tablespoon Orange Zest
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 2 large Egg
  • 4 tablespoons Butter Melted

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, ginger, and orange zest.
  • In another bowl, whisk together milk, vanilla, and eggs. Pour into dry ingredients and stir well to combine, until few lumps remain.
  • Let rest for 15 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, preheat your waffle iron.
  • When ready to cook the waffles, stir the melted butter into the batter. Scoop batter into the waffle iron and cook according to iron specifications.
  • Serve immediately.
