- 2 1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Butter Melted and cooled
- 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 cup Packed Brown Sugar
- 1 large Egg Plus 1 egg yolk
- zest of one Orange
- 1 11 ounce package White Chocolate Chips
In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a large bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, egg, egg yolk, and orange zest.
Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, and stir until combined.
Fold in the white chocolate chips.
Chill for at least 3 hours, or ideally overnight. You want the dough to be firm and thoroughly chilled.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.
Allow cookies to cool for 2 minutes on cookie sheets before removing to wire racks to cool completely.
