Instructions
In a large bowl or in the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the butter and powdered sugar until well-combined.
Gradually add the milk, vanilla, and salt, and beat on high speed until smooth and fluffy.
Stir the finished frosting a few times with a rubber spatula to get any large air bubbles out.
Notes
Cream or half and half may be substituted for the milk.
