Hot Pepper Sauce

This spicy hot pepper sauce is made with scotch bonnet chili peppers and makes a great addition to spicy Caribbean dishes.

Ingredients
  

  • 10 Scotch Bonnet Chili
  • 1 large Onion chopped
  • 1 large Carrot chopped
  • 1/2 Cucumber chopped
  • 1 Mango peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup Pineapple
  • 5 cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 cup Pickled Jalapeños
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 Limes juiced and zested

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
  • Transfer to a saucepan and bring to a boil, then reduce to a gentle simmer.
  • Let simmer for an hour for the flavors to develop.
  • Cool and put into a jar or sealed container. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours before using.
