- 2 Egg
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 4 slices Italian Bread
- 6 slices Black Forest Ham
- 2 tablespoons Cherry Jam
- 4 slices Brie Cheese From a wheel, rinds removed
Heat a large skillet over medium heat add butter. Swirl to coat pan.
Beat together milk and eggs, whisking to combine.
Top one slice of bread with 3 slices of ham and one tablespoon of cherry preserves.
Top preserves with 2 slices Brie cheese and one slice of bread.
Dip sandwich in egg mixture, turning to coat. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
Place sandwiches on hot skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side or until toasted.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired and serve with maple syrup.
