Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Ground Beef Or lamb
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 2 teaspoons Marjoram
  • 2 teaspoons Oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/2 small Onion Grated
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1/2 Cucumber
  • 2 teaspoons Lemon Juice
  • 2 teaspoons Dill
  • 1 clove Garlic Minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • Pitas
  • Diced Tomatoes

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • In a large bowl combine all of the ingredients for the meatballs. Using clean hands, mix until well combined. Form into 1 inch balls, and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until cooked thru.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the tzatziki sauce. Grate the cucumber, including the peel. Wrap in a clean kitchen towel, and squeeze to remove the liquid. In a small bowl combine yogurt, drained cucumber, lemon juice, dill, garlic, salt and pepper. Store in the fridge until ready to serve.
  • To serve top each pita with a couple meatballs, tzatziki sauce and a few tomatoes.
