Ingredients

  • 2 half racks Baby Back Ribs About 3 to 4 pounds total
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Tamari Gluten Free Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon Minced Garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 275°F.
  • Place your ribs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil (for easier cleanup).
  • Mix the rub ingredients together and then rub all over both sides of the ribs.
  • Bake the ribs for 4-5 hours.
  • Whisk together the sauce ingredients in a saucepan and cook over medium heat until reduced by about 1/3. It should become thicker and syrupy.
  • About 30 minutes before the ribs are done, brush them with about half of the sauce and then return to the oven. I like to use a silicone brush because it is easier to clean.
  • When they come out of the oven brush them with the remaining sauce and then let cool slightly before slicing into rib sections.
