Garlic Butter Breadsticks Recipe

Soft Garlic Butter Breadsticks brushed with garlic butter are such a savory treat. You and your guests will love them!

Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 package Rapid Rise Yeast
  • 3 tablespoons Granulated Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 6 tablespoons Melted Butter
  • 2 cups Water room temperature
  • 6 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian Seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Measure flour, yeast, sugar and salt in the bowl of a stand mixer.
  • Mix together until just combined.
  • Add water and melted butter, mixing with the dough hook until ingredients come together to form a dough.
  • Knead for 10 minutes.
  • Remove dough from the bowl, lightly oil the bottom.
  • Place dough in the bottom of the bowl, turn to coat then flip dough over so both sides are lightly oiled.
  • Let it rise in a warm place for 1 1/2 hours.
  • Prepare 4 baking sheets with silicone mats or parchment paper.
  • Divide dough in half and cut one of the halves into 12 pieces.
  • Roll into long log shapes and place on prepared baking sheets. I usually put 6 on each sheet.
  • Let the breadsticks rise for about an hour or until they are doubled in size.
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  • Bake for 12 minutes or until they are lightly browned.
  • Measure butter for the garlic butter in a microwave safe bowl.
  • Add in salt, garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  • Melt the butter, then stir.
  • Brush on top of warm breadsticks.
  • Enjoy!
