Measure flour, yeast, sugar and salt in the bowl of a stand mixer.
Mix together until just combined.
Add water and melted butter, mixing with the dough hook until ingredients come together to form a dough.
Knead for 10 minutes.
Remove dough from the bowl, lightly oil the bottom.
Place dough in the bottom of the bowl, turn to coat then flip dough over so both sides are lightly oiled.
Let it rise in a warm place for 1 1/2 hours.
Prepare 4 baking sheets with silicone mats or parchment paper.
Divide dough in half and cut one of the halves into 12 pieces.
Roll into long log shapes and place on prepared baking sheets. I usually put 6 on each sheet.
Let the breadsticks rise for about an hour or until they are doubled in size.
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
Bake for 12 minutes or until they are lightly browned.
Measure butter for the garlic butter in a microwave safe bowl.
Add in salt, garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
Melt the butter, then stir.
Brush on top of warm breadsticks.
Enjoy!
