Ingredients

  • 2 sticks Unsalted Butter plus more for greasing the foil
  • 1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/3 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Fine Sea Salt
  • 4 ounces Semi-Sweet Chocolate chopped
  • 2 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 4 large Egg lightly beaten

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Take a 9" x 13" baking pan and line it with foil, allowing 2" to hang over at least 2 of the sides.
  • Grease the foil with butter.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder and salt.
  • Place a saucepan over a medium heat and put in the butter and chocolate. Stir frequently until melted.
  • Allow to cool slightly, then stir in the sugar and eggs.
  • Add the flour mixture and stir well until combined.
  • Pour the batter into the baking pan and place into the oven.
  • Bake for around 30 to 35 minutes. When the brownies are ready, a toothpick inserted into the center should come out with just a few crumbs.
  • Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan, set on a cooling rack.
  • When cool, lift the brownies from the pan, using the foil overhang to help you.
  • Cut into 16 squares.
  • The brownies can be kept for up to 3 days in an airtight container at room temperature.
