Combine all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl and mix to combine.
Fold in the chocolate chips using a rubber spatula.
Spray a 9-inch pie dish or cast iron skillet with non-stick baking spray, then evenly spread 1/2 the batter into the dish.
Evenly spread the chocolate sauce on top of the batter.
Roll out the remaining batter and place it on top of the chocolate sauce.
