Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1/3 cup Light Brown Sugar packed
  • 2 tablespoons Molasses
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tablespoon Ground Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • Pretzels
  • Animal Crackers
  • Graham Cracker Sticks
  • Gingersnap Cookies

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine butter, brown sugar and molasses. Cook until brown sugar is dissolved and mixture is bubbling.
  • Remove from heat and let cool. (You can pour it in a bowl to speed up the process.) Whisk in vanilla.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar and spices and beat on medium speed for about a minute or until well combined and slightly fluffy.
  • Add butter mixture and beat on low until combined. Serve immediately.
  • If not serving immediately, store in fridge but let sit at room temp for about an hour prior to serving so that it softens.
  • Serve with your favorite cookie or pretzel for dipping.
