Chocolate Peppermint Croissants Recipe

Chocolate Peppermint Croissants only have four ingredients. A simple holiday breakfast!

- 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips
- 1/4 teaspoon Peppermint Extract Optional
- 1 sheet Puff Pastry Thawed but still cold
- 1/4 cup Crushed Candy Cane Pieces
In medium size pot add whipping cream, chocolate chips and extract (if you want an extra taste of peppermint).
Allow to come to a boil over medium heat.
Cool in refrigerator for 30 mins.
When cooled, make 6 1-inch balls and place in freezer for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 425°F. Prepare cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Roll out puff pastry and cut into 6 long rectangles.
Place a ganache ball on the long end of each pastry. Roll and tuck starting from the long end to the short end.
Place on cookie sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool. Drizzle with extra ganache and sprinkle with crushed candy canes.
Serve and ENJOY!
