Ingredients
  

  • 1 box Yellow Cake Mix 18.25 ounces
  • 8 tablespoons Salted Butter Melted
  • 3 large Egg
  • 1 8 ounce package Cream Cheese Softened
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/3 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 21 ounce can Cherry Pie Filling

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13 pan with foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix cake mix, melted butter, and eggs. Spread HALF of the batter carefully in the bottom of your prepared pan.
  • In the bowl of your mixer, beat cream cheese, vanilla, and granulated sugar on medium-high speed until smooth. Spread over cake batter in pan.
  • Top with pie filling, spreading to edges.
  • Spoon remaining batter evenly over the tops of the bars, covering as much as the surface as possible.
  • Bake bars for roughly 25-30 minutes, until tops are golden.
  • Remove from oven and let cool completely, then chill thoroughly in the refrigerator.
  • Once bars have chilled, remove foil and cut into squares.
