Cheese Twists Recipe

Cheese Twists have only three ingredients, so you can serve a great snack without missing all the fun. Perfect!

- 1 package Frozen Puff Pastry comes with two squares of puff pastry dough
- 2 cups Shredded Cheese
- 3/4 cup Butter Butter
Thaw your puff pastry dough by leaving in the refrigerator the night before you make these.
Prepare 2-3 cookie sheets lined with parchment paper or silicone mats.
Lay out one square of puff pastry, unfolding it onto a clean and dry surface.
Brush melted butter onto one side of the puff pastry dough.
Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese on top of the butter and gently press the cheese down onto the dough.
Cut into 8 strips using a pizza cutter.
Twist until only the unbuttered side of the dough is visible and the cheese is (mostly) inside of the twists.
Place each twist onto the parchment paper, leaving a little space in between each one.
Repeat with the second square of puff pastry dough.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until completely chilled.
Preheat your oven to 375°F.
Brush remaining melted butter over the twists warming the butter again if necessary to make it brushable.
Sprinkle reserved cheese over the twists.
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
