Ripe tomatoes are layered with creamy mozzarella and fresh basil in these caprese tomato stacks. A vegetarian recipe doesn’t get any fresher than this!
3-4Fresh Tomatocut into 12 slices and any extra chopped
12ouncesFresh Mozzarellacut into slices
1/4cupFresh Basil Leaveschopped plus extra whole leaves for garnish
1tablespoonLawry's Seasoned Salt
3tablespoonsBalsamic Vinegar Reductionor glaze
Instructions
On a large plate, alternate layers of tomato, mozzarella cheese and chopped basil, making 4 stacks. Sprinkle each layer lightly with the seasoned salt.
Top each one with some extra chopped tomatoes and chopped basil.
Drizzle all the stacks with the balsamic glaze. Garnish with extra basil leaves.
