- 1 pound Thick Sliced Bacon
- 1/3 cup Light Brown Sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1-2 medium Jalapeño Finely minced
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with foil. Parchment paper also works well.
Lay the bacon slices out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Then work in the diced jalapenos by hand. Rub the bacon with the brown sugar, turn each slice over and run that side too.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, depending on how crunchy you like your bacon.
Lay the bacon on parchment paper to cool and drain. It will stick to paper towels!
- WASH YOUR HANDS THOROUGHLY after making the jalapeno brown sugar mixture and rubbing the bacon. Please take care not to touch your nose, eyes, or other sensitive skin until you are sure there’s no more pepper residue on your hands.
