Bacon Wrapped Dates Recipe

Bacon wrapped dates are a quick and easy appetizer that can easily become dinner for one. Grab a glass of wine and dig in!

Ingredients
  

  • 24 Medjool Date roughly 3/4 pound
  • 12 slices Bacon cut in half

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F
  • Cover a baking sheet with tin foil
  • Cut bacon in half
  • Make a small incision in the date and remove the pit
  • Wrap a piece of bacon tightly around a date
  • Place the wrapped date on the sheet and push down gently so it won’t unravel
  • Repeat steps 5 and 6 until all the dates are wrapped
  • Bake at 425°F for 5 minutes
  • With tongs, turn over the dates and bake for an additional 5 minutes
  • Remove from oven once the bacon is browned and crispy.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
