Almond Berry Baked Oatmeal will greet sleepy people and start their day joyfully. Just the right thing in the morning.

- 2 cups Rolled Oats
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Fat Free Milk
- 1/2 cup Honey
- 1/4 cup Applesauce
- 1 Egg
- 1 teaspoon Pure Almond Extract
- 1 1/2 cups Frozen Mixed Berries Divided
- 1/4 cup Sliced Almonds
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Stir together the oats, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
Whisk together the milk, honey, applesauce, egg, and extract. Pour over the dry ingredients and mix together.
Gently stir in 1 cup of the frozen berries.
Pour into a greased 9x7 or 8x8 baking dish. Top with remaining berries and sliced almonds.
Bake for 45 minutes. Let cool slightly to firm up.
Cut into 8 or 9 squares, depending on the pan size.
Serve warm with honey and milk. Store leftovers in a covered container in the refrigerator.
