    24 Servings

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 1/2 cups Oatmeal, blended into a fine powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 24 ounces Milk Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Pecans

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  3. Once creamy, add the eggs, one at a time, mixing in between additions. Add the vanilla and mix.
  4. Mix in the flour, oatmeal powder, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Only mix until the dough forms. Be careful not to over mix!
  5. Use a wooden spoon or a rubber spatula to mix in the chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
  6. Scoop dough onto an ungreased parchment or silicon lined baking sheet by rounded tablespoons, 2 inches apart to allow for spreading.
  7. Bake for 9-11 minutes until the edges are just barely golden.
  8. Let cool on baking sheet for 1-2 minutes before removing to wire rack to cool completely.
