Deep Dish Cookie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour, Or gluten free all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Butter, Softened
  • 3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar, Packed
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups Semisweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl and mix to combine.
  3. Fold in the chocolate chips using a rubber spatula.
  4. Spray a 9-inch pie dish or cast iron skillet with non-stick baking spray, then evenly spread 1/2 the batter into the dish.
  5. Evenly spread the chocolate sauce on top of the batter.
  6. Roll out the remaining batter and place it on top of the chocolate sauce.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly, then serve immediately.
