Cookies & Cream Ice Cream Bread Recipe

  • 2 cups Cookies & Cream Ice Cream, full fat, not light
  • 1 1/2 cups Self Rising Flour
  • 10 oreos (Oreos, or other preferred sandwich cookies

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray an 8" x 4" loaf pan with baking spray containing flour and line the bottom with a rectangle of parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together softened ice cream and self-rising flour until all the flour is evenly moistened. Stir in half of the cookie pieces. Scrape batter into prepared pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle top with remaining cookie pieces and gently press into the top.
  3. Bake in preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, until a tester inserted in the middle comes out clean. Remove from oven and turn bread carefully out of the baking pan. Cool completely on a wire rack.
