Chocolate Peppermint Fondue Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 6 ounces Dark Chocolate Chips
  • 6 ounces Milk Chocolate Chips
  • 1/4 cup Peppermint Baking Chunks
  • 1 tablespoon Peppermint Mocha Kahlua, or peppermint schnapps (optional)
Dippers:
  • Shortbread Fingers
  • Pretzels
  • Pound Cake Cubes
  • Rice Krispies Treats
  • Strawberries

Directions

  1. Pour heavy cream into Swissmar Sierra Cast Iron Fondue Pot.
  2. Set pot on stove top over medium/low heat, stirring occasionally until cream is hot but not boiling. Stir in chocolate and Andes Peppermint Crunch Baking Chips and remove pot from heat.
  3. Stir until all chocolate is melted.
  4. Transfer pot to rechaud set over low fondue flame to keep chocolate warm and melted.
  5. Serve fondue with your choice of dippers. Enjoy!

Notes

If using a ceramic or thin metal fondue pot, heat cream and melt chocolate in a heavy bottomed sauce pan on the stove top before pouring melted fondue into fondue pot set over a low heat source as per manufacturers instructions.
